Air Force Issues First Guidance to Troops About Space Force

AF Space Command and Cyber Command are already performing these mission tasks. In the late 1960s POTUS, DOD< & the JCS declared that there was no threat from space, while me and many other folks were working on defensive intelligence and counter-threat systems.. It was and is an AF mission.

The Space Force will likely be to the Air Force as the Army Air Corps was to the Army.
A lot of the assets will come from the Air Force but it will no longer be part of the Air Force when it is established.
