After Bill's speech, I'm convinced this convention is about something MUCH WORSE than Hillary......

I, personally, could not agree with him more! I have friends and coworkers that I have known for years. I know for a fact, that 2 of them have spouted the same Socialist crap, I even asked one where he had heard this, "soviet doctrine?", he said it did come from one of his classes in college that covered people like Marx and Mills. He liked the way the new progressive Democrats were leading. This morning he called me to see if I had watched any of the DNC? I asked him if he liked the fact that they idolized the families of those killed in altercations with Law Enforcement? He grew silent. I asked him if he believed Bill was being truthful about Killery'S achievements? About how great of a wife and mother she was? More silence! Then I asked him if he would be suing the government to get his job back and back pay? Oh, I forgot to mention that he had lost his job for leaving a classified area un-alarmed over night. This area is located in another secure area, on a compound that is patrolled by armed security 24 hours a day. I got an "F'you" and a dead line after that.

Oh wow, he really can't tell the difference between a Democrat and a Communist and attempts to use planks of the communist manifesto as proof. Alright let's look at the first plank of the Communist Manifesto.

1. Abolition of private property and the application of all rents of land to public purpose. Col. West states "Zoning laws, school and property taxes, Bureau of Land Management. Rancher Cliven Bundy knows all about that."

Zoning laws, school and property taxes... so if I wanted to start up a concentrated animal feeding operation, lets say a pig farm right next to your house, that should be allowed because zoning laws are communism. We should also stop taxing property because roads, fire departments, police and schools are communism. Government managing public lands for the benefit of all citizens is also communism, doesn't matter if it's the Grand Canyon or millions of acres of Wildlands we took from American Indians as we expanded west.

The Communist Manifesto wasn't talking about taxing property, they already had that... they were talking about the elimination of all private property. They were not talking about managing parks and nature preserves either, they had those as well. All property held in common, you own none of it. The communists planned to eliminate all land taxes, and replace them with rent... when you are paying rent on property, you don't own it.

I don't hear Democrats saying anything like that, I don't even hear Greens saying that and they are far to the left of Democrats.

I do not admire Col. Allen West, he's smart enough to regurgitate what Republicans want to hear... but not smart enough to realize it's sheer idiocy. The party of Wall Street, the party of Clinton and her big banks, the party of neo-liberal reform and neo-conservative foreign policies is somehow aligned with the communist party? Ridiculous, the only thing they are aligned with is greed.

I'm not as pessimistic as Col West. Indeed, I take heart in the fact that Progressives feel compelled to hide behind false labels. It reminds me that most Americans are not ready to abandon personal liberty for the shackles of socialism. Thus, the Left has to sneak socialism in the door with a millions little incidental attacks. Yes, I am concerned that the effect is cumulative and we're beginning to hurt from them.
