Advocates push to start work on Global War on Terror memorial

Yesterday, IAVA joined many other VSOs, Members of Congress and other supporters to introduce the Global War on Terror War Memorial Act (H.R. 873) to begin the process of establishing a memorial on the National Mall in Washington, DC.

Andrew Brennan is a good friend of mine and a graduate of West Point.

I'm hoping this bill gets passed so the memorial can move forward.

I will share IAVA's take action link on our website when we get it up soon so everyone can easily send a letter to their Congressional delegation asking for their support and co-sponsorship.
