hope this moron got his ass caned, not his job. If he doesn't like serving people, because of their color or nationality, he needs to find a different job.

I'm not surprised one bit. Descrimination still exist. It's been around for ever. The fact that trump is president may have something to do with this individual, but not everyone. I, myself really wish someone would do this to me. Some people just don't know how to react or ask the right questions. My first question would have been, who are you and what gives you the authority to ask me for documents? Go get your manager. Some people just need to be confronted directly in order to fix the problem. I hope this guy finds a new job soon, especially if he has a family to support.

WTH? I would be far more out of place in southern California than some Hispanic ladies.

I know I felt way out of place, even in a military town.

Used to live there for 10 years after deployment not by choice but because I was sick and got stuck there. It not a good place to live. I'm lucky I can say I survived it.

We lived there for three years. I was out, but hubby was still in. We were in Oceanside. The cost of everything was ridiculous. We live in Kentucky now, hubby gets about the same amount of money a month as he did then but our standard of living is higher even with two more children, allowing me to stay home without stressing over money like we did then.
