How about that it just wouldn't surprise me. The VA is crappy now, can you imagine how much crappier it was WAY back 50 years ago?? This is just a very sad, disgusting situation!! COL Mikel J. Burroughs

This is data very suspect - there's no correlation that not processing the records contributed to any of these deaths - which is what they are implying and I think that is terrible journalism. How many of these are duplicates or "mistakes"? Yes, I'm confident that there are some that are legit - and we all know there is a backlog - but to imply that 307K died because they didn't get their VA forms processed is just not right.

Same here, I went to the VA hospital once in 1976 they treated me like dirt I haven't been back since!

SSG Ricardo Marcial - I have never in the past 20 years EVER had a problem using the VA system. As a matter of fact I received a card in the mail today lettiing me know that a physical therapy appointment has been set up for me. I've received EXCELLENT care from the VA her in SA....NO COMPLAINTS WHAT SO EVER!
I'm just sorry that many have had so many issues.
ya'll come to Texas...it's beautiful here and you'll receive excellent care and you have 7 bases at your finger tips.
