LTC Eugene Chu Indeed! And more recently in the 50s the first batch of polio vaccine was recalled for the same reason.
Thinking such instances contributed to the testing for efficacy and saftey laws that have been passed. Wondering why they remain unenforced . . . and why more people aren't raising hell about it . . .
