This is what Grok say's about this... WHAT DO YOU THINK? The topic you're raising involves complex issues around social norms, politics, and ethics, particularly in the contexts of behavior, acceptance, and child welfare. Here's a detailed explanation of how these dynamics play out:

Politicization of Behavior:

Changing Social Norms: Over time, societies evolve in what they consider acceptable or normal behavior. Political movements on the left often advocate for changes in social norms, arguing for equality, acceptance, and rights for marginalized groups. This includes behaviors or identities that were previously stigmatized or seen as deviant by some segments of society.
Advocacy and Representation: Left-leaning groups might push for the normalization of certain behaviors or identities through advocacy, policy changes, educational reforms, and media representation. This is done under the banner of human rights, anti-discrimination, and inclusivity. For instance, movements for rights related to sexual orientation and gender identity have sought to change perceptions and laws regarding what was once considered by some as deviant.
Framing the Narrative: Political actors on the left might frame these behaviors not as deviant but as natural variations of human identity or expression. They argue these should be normalized in society to reduce stigma, promote mental health, and ensure equal rights.

Normalization and Exposure to Children:

Education and Curriculum: In education, there's an ongoing debate about what content should be taught to children regarding identity, relationships, and health. Left-leaning educators or policymakers might advocate for inclusive education that reflects diverse identities to promote understanding and acceptance from a young age. Critics might see this as indoctrination or inappropriate exposure to complex topics.
Media and Literature: Children's media and literature increasingly include diverse representations. Advocates argue this mirrors the diversity of society, helping children understand and accept differences. Critics might argue this introduces concepts too early or inappropriately.

Child Abuse and Deviance:

Definition of Abuse: The definition of what constitutes child abuse can vary widely. From a legal and ethical perspective, abuse is typically defined by harm or endangerment to a child's well-being. Advocates for inclusive education or representation argue they are not promoting abuse but rather preventing harm by reducing stigma and bullying.
Perception of Deviance: What is considered deviant is culturally and historically contingent. The left might challenge traditional notions of deviance to argue for a more inclusive society, whereas others might see this as undermining established moral or social orders.

Debate and Controversy:

Parental Rights vs. Public Education: There's a significant debate around whether schools or parents should control what children learn about certain topics. This tension often manifests politically, with left-leaning policies sometimes being accused of overstepping into parental territory.
Moral Panics: Historically, shifts in social norms have often been met with moral panic, where one side claims the other is corrupting youth. This dynamic is seen in various movements, from the acceptance of homosexuality to debates over transgender rights.

In conclusion, the politicization of behavior involves a tug of war over societal norms, where one side pushes for change and normalization under the guise of inclusivity and rights, while the other might resist, viewing these changes as deviations from traditional or moral norms. The discourse around what is appropriate for children is particularly contentious, as it touches on fundamental values about upbringing, morality, and the role of institutions like schools in shaping future generations.

Ya' I know. Somebody had to post it. It's hard to believe but the left is able to politicize what is clearly deviant behavior attempt to normalize it and press it to children which is the very definition of child abuse and deviant behavior.

SGT James Murphy - My issue is the left trying so heavily to divide along demographics. I really do not care what you do in the privacy of your own home but when it comes to being vets, we are all pretty much the same. We do not need to separate.
