Kind of difficult when someone waits for decades to file formal charges and the system allows them to ignore any statute of limitations.

Fact #11:

The 9th and 10th Amendments are all but dead in modern America.

Hmm . . . I had to take a quick look.
The Ninth seems to reaffirm our inalienable rights, listed and not listed, in the Declaration of Independence.
All I know about the 10th is that it seems to have been misused recently by SCOTUS regarding an inalienable right that we all have over our own bodies.
And how about that "retributive punishment" for those who have had abortions that want to dictate the right to make one's own health decisions, surely an inalienable right.
When ONLY religious belief is used to promote opinions, that result in policies, clearly it is a violate the separation clause, imo.

SGT Mary G. I am very strongly anti-abortion. But despite that, I can still look at things objectively. And to me, this was the single biggest fault with the Roe decision. They should have based it in the 9th Amendment, and it likely would not have been able to be overturned in Dobbs.

Dobbs was not decided based on religion, though. May want to revisit your facts.

SFC Casey O'Mally I highly value objectivity. Seems so rare, at time. Yes, I understand about Dobbs. However, dumping the issue on states, instead of leaving it be, has resulted in nearly all the state laws have been justified and defended by people who cite their religious bellief as the reason for the laws - regardless of medical need.
