One of many things we don't do well here. But people will still red-faced scream at you if you don't say we are the best country in the world. Maybe if we tamped down some of the greed and power mongering, we could get a little better.

I know some times circumstances dictate how someone handles their money but that should be a temporary thing not the norm. Foolish is the one who cashes out their 401 every time they switch jobs or those who do not participate. I have always advocated to at minimum put in as much as will get you the most of Employer Matching funds.
