To help add to my life span, I walk regularly and try not to stress too much. Fishing helps. lol
For my health spans, I have my career in the Army to cover that via Tricars for life, Medicare, and the VAMC.

When you look at the increasing numbers of people that appear to be weebles, it's not hard to understand. A healthy life style is as important for seniors as it is for anyone younger. I'm 5'7" and weigh 250#, yet if I'm standing and look down I see my lower body and feet, not belly. While active I never passed the weigh in and tape test. I was scoring 300 on the the old APFT, I carried the Guidon during company runs. Muscle weighs more than fat. Too many folks reach their 50s and decide that they just don't have to maintain their bodies anymore because they could fall over dead at any time, and that becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.
