"two large spending bills that drove inflation" = assumption, stated as fact.
Inflation is a global problem, but those spending bills where US initiatives. And, US inflation has been better than in most other countries around the globe. In fact, the US inflation rate is better now, relative to inflation rates in the rest of the world, than it was during Trump's last year in office.
"war on oil" = assumption, stated as fact.
The US is producing more oil than any other country has ever produced. If it's a "war on oil", oil is certainly winning that war.

LTC Kevin B. - the oil boom is in spite of Biden’s efforts, not because of them. https://www.reuters.com/graphics/USA-BIDEN/OIL/lgpdngrgkpo/

LTC David Brown - "Biden cancelled leases and stopped issuing new leases while putting tracks of oil bearing land off limits. This looks like an attack on the oil industry."
This looks to me like stopping an attack on our environment.
"Instead of increasing US oil production Biden sold off 50% of US oil reserves."
Selling off oil reserves is immaterial to the fact that oil production increased. Look more closely at the graph I posted.

So you agree with me that the oil industry is winning any "war on oil".

The oil companies are winning now because of better production techniques and improved technology., when those fields are dry and oil abundant areas are off limits it will be a differs story.. Selling oil reserves to make up for bad policies is immaterial until the reserve oil isn’t there but is needed.

LTC David Brown - But the strategic oil reserve is still there. It's not as big as it could be, but it's certainly not at any panic level. Plus, US oil production is so high that I'm sure the oil producers will happily sell oil to us to fill it back up.
