Thousands of chemicals used in food packaging and food production are leaching into food itself.

*sigh* We want to eat safely, but there are still risks whether it be from grocery store or restaurant.

I've always found it ironic that things like vegetables are packaged because those with germ phobias are fearful. Then we get reports like this that infer that the packaging is more harmful than what it supposedly protects people from. What's so hard about washing unpackaged vegetables before consuming them?

CPL LaForest Gray about the only things we don’t rinse is raw meat. I’ve heard that just spreads anything that might be on it
