Under Missouri's new rules that require plain packaging for marijuana products, items must be individually approved by the state. Licensees were up against a Sept. 1 deadline, and not all got the green light, meaning some manufacturers are sitting on products they can't sell. I get wanting things to be safe, but like AR, MO is full of right wing zealots who cannot accept the fact that marijuana is safer than legal drugs like alcohol and cigarettes. They will do whatever they can to impede the will of the people.
There's a citizen led initiative on the November ballot in AR to open up the qualifying conditions for medical marijuana. It's currently polling at 54% in favor with 35% opposed. I'm expect the dimwits in our legislature to do their best to screw with that after it passes, as well.
