Never started a brush fire at the range but came close to it while muzzleloader hunting, and the smoking patch came out into some dry grass.

Reminds me of the time I "acquired" my AK-47 and a bag of several types of ammo including tracer rounds. Gave it to my Brother in Law and his friends whom where not Military and when they came back from the woods area they normally shot at all their jackets and shirts had big burn holes in them. Yup... they set the range on fire by loading All Trace Rounds! It was a wildfire they had to put out without any water... 8-) Forgot to mention. Class 3 Licensed full auto.... That' must have been fun damn near burning up my barrel.
