If you are a woman veteran or currently serving, or you have any women veterans in your family who are no longer with us, consider registering yourself/them in the Military Women's Memorial and tell your story. If you are ever visiting Arlington, this is right next to the cemetery. I reenlisted there in 2010.

Because of my experience writing veterans' stories, I was approached by this group and I agreed to help. Sadly, the first name assigned to me came with no background material and none was exposed in my Internet searches. As an alternative, I have requested permission to interview and write stories of female veterans in my community. Hopefully the leaders of this organization will agree
