Yes I saw this and I just sat there mouth agape...it's mind boggling how much he denigrates veterans, active duty, Gold Star families and STILL has people who served or serving support him and think he is a supporter of the troops.

It could be worse...he could have left his unit hanging on their way to combat ops after drawing guard pay for 20 years and claim he was in combat with the wrong rank for personal gain...OH WAIT...Thats the VP nominee!

MSgt Michael Bischoff - You talk about the right...I'll talk about the left especially when facts don't lie and neither do any of his unit personnel or his Brigade CSM or his CO. I will continue to keep this out there for veterans to see until Nov. Being a combat veteran, I cannot trust him in any form or fashion when he left his men hanging like that.
Problem is we have a $#!+ sandwich to choose from this November and I am not happy with either candidate...I am flabbergasted that we have 350 million citizens and this is all we have to choose from for President? I will vote because I want my voice out there...my grandad always told me to vote, your candidate may not win but you can't fuss if you didn't at least vote.
