War in Ukraine: Why are Western brands continuing to operate in Russia?

Some western companies still operate in Russia despite condemning war. Some franchises operate under same name without corporate support (Burger King). Some companies cannot legally leave without selling at steep discount to Kremlin backed oligarchs (Unilever).
