My comment: Political implications: Democrats are eager to tie Trump to Project 2025, as some of its more controversial proposals could potentially alienate independent voters.

MSNBC and CNN have written that Project 2025 is authored by Trump, or a minimum is responsible for the content - Not true!

Some people have had some kind of contact or possibly worked in his administration that the news organization bloviates into something that isn't factual. Innuendo and in some cases, lies are used to promote ideas they hope will take hold and keep Trump out of the White House by discouraging voters. It's more Russia-Russia by a different name.

The facts are that the Heritage Foundation orchestrated and managed Project 2025.

This leaves the question as to why the Democratic party and their news organization push this content.

VP Harris's recent speech asserted, "Trump has plans that could significantly impact reproductive rights and social safety nets, which have been scrutinized for their truthfulness. For example, she has claimed that Trump intends to cut Social Security and that Project 2025 includes provisions that would undermine these programs."
