I don't know what is so difficult for some people to understand that if you're going out in a boat, you should wear a life jacket. Some people learn too late that they should have worn a life jacket.

I have to admit I've gone out without one on, I was an exceptionally strong swimmer, but back then never thought about put of the ordinary circumstances like if I was konked on the head and unconscious. You just never know what will happen so its better to be safe than sorry.
