Their view remains rather muddied and will require clarification as it proceeds through the court system again, likely back to the Supreme Court again

If POTUS sees something that needs to be done, It's His job to see that it gets done. Judicial and Legislative can come in after the fact and make all the second guesses and noise they want. At this point in time there have been proven cases of election interference and irregularities. So Trumps actions, on Jan 6, look fully justified to me.
