Correct. This ruling is 100% unsupported by any law or our Constitution. All our previous Presidents save one did the job without any expectation of immunity. Even Nixon, who said to David Frost "When the President does it, it's not illegal" didn't actually believe that. He resigned rather than face impeachment and trial.
