I concur PO1 H Gene Lawrence. Knives, bats, machetes, and a myriad of other ways to maim or kill. Mind you, I am not supporting domestic violence, but firearms are not the only way of inflicting harm.

Maj Robert Thornton - oh, I agree. When I was a Deputy Sheriff and responded to domestic violence calls, guns were not the norm. It definitely was some other type of means.

Kind of makes me wonder how anyone can say you can't own something without due process.

If there is a court conviction of domestic violence I can see this as a temporary measure but not permanent if the individual changes. If it is just a restraining order then it goes to far because the truth of the matter has yet to be determined.
