Deadly heat waves are scorching cities across continents in the Northern Hemisphere; a sign that climate change may once again fuel record-breaking heat. This year’s summer could surpass last year’s as the warmest in 2,000 years.
In only the first few days of summer India had the longest heatwave on record, China experienced some of the worst flooding in history, and closer to home heat domes burned from coast to coast, with damaging rains in the Midwest and wildfires in New Mexico.

We shall soon find out, it looks like we shall be returning to caves. We top out at being biologically equipped to live in heat at 122 degrees F. That is assuming you can't get away from the heat. Dubai is an example of what modern technology can do...but you exist in tiny bubbles of cool air. And if it doesn't cool down at night...well, that's even worse. Even just five days of exposure to that kind of heat, and you get the numbers you got in Pakistan, Mecca, and Paris two summers ago.
We basically broil. And I am not sure if we have enough cool bubbles for 8 billion people. Time will tell. And it won't take much time if the heat stays.
