Good afternoon, LTC Eugene Chu. Excellent post. Thank you for sharing this Sir. This is an excellent concept. But, if enough shoppers request it, then it should be honored.

If they have the base to support them. The only thing is the commissary like all other stores buys and stocks what sells...if they sit on the shelf because there isn't a demand for them they expire and get thrown away...waste of money and drives other costs up to make up for it. If they do this, each commissary can do a survey and start with a few items and see how it goes, if they sell then add more. If they don't then stop carrying them. Lawmakers should not be that far down in the weeds to tell commissaries what they should and shouldn't sell...they need to be focused on more strategic things like maybe say drafting and passing laws! IMHO
