I can remember the milkman coming at least into the early 60s. If i remember right the company was Sealtest Dairy. We had a big silver insulated box by the back door where milk and other dairy items were placed. I can remember getting cottage cheese in aluminum tumblers that were a different color every week. My parents still used those tumblers for drinks up until the last time I was there in the mid 80s.

I remember him and I remember that milk beign fresh and tasting so good!!!

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen I don't remember a Milkman until I moved to London. Loved the Milkman, Milk, Eggs, Cheese. Now when I vacationed in Bad Aibling Learned about the Beer Man. No Need to Leave Home. Beer Delivered to the Doorstep.

Oh man, glass bottles, paper tops, with a cardboard seal. Our Milkman used to leave us a half gallon of chocolate milk - for free! When my Dad had his heart attack and was in the hospital for almost a year, with ten kids at home...the milkman never stopped delivering milk, even though Mom couldn't afford to pay for it. If there is a Heaven, that man is in it.
