Your mother benefitted off African Americans fight for D.E.I.

Origins of DEI
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

(DEI) movement in the United
States is not new. It has its roots
in the 1960s civil rights movement
and has grown to include gender,
sexual orientation, religion,
country of origin, and other
identities.

As described by the
Greenlining Institute (2018), the
focus in the 1960s into the mid-
1970s was on tolerance, meaning the acceptance of integration of workplaces, schools, and communities. From the mid-1970s into the 1990s, the focuswas on multiculturalism and being
aware of the achievements of
various racial and ethnic
minorities.

As the demographics began to
shift and there were projections
about “majority minority” culture
by the 2040s, the emphasis has
been on inclusion and equity.
Since the early 2010s, there has
been an increased emphasis on
accountability to ensure that that diverse groups are represented at all economic and social levels, often using social media to hold
government, corporations, and
civil society accountable (see
Greenlining Institute DEI
Framework.

content/uploads/2018/05/Racial-
Equity-Framework.pdf).

Affirmative action programs redistribute jobs and student slots to minorities and women, though the effects are not very large.

Opponents of affirmative action often cite the small changes to the status quo after decades of effort, the cost of the programs, and the belief that affirmative action forces unwarranted accommodations as evidence of a collective failure.

Some also argue that affirmative action results in reverse discrimination, which can lead to qualified candidates being overlooked in favor of less qualified candidates who meet policy standards.

1. No, my Mother got the best grades. My Mother was born in 1932. Her dad was murdered when she was a baby.

2. The 'city girls' from San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa had snacks from the USA mailed to them while my poor Mom had hand me down clothes and ill-fitting shoes. The City girls were the Mean Girls of her Catholic Parochial High School and made fun of her but She had the last laugh. DEI gives it to the Mayan Honduran Girl or Black Honduran Girl with a B Average and screws over the White Hispanic in the Name of 'Social Justice' like my Straight A Mother .

I wonder how many patients are going to die for mediocre.Doctors that should have never been given their P.H.D to practice medicine in the USA based?
DEI mean the best are not chosen based on race and not Meritocracy.
Biden and Harris are failures on Mediocrity!

My Mom got the scholarship based on Merrit. Let us not Forget Democrats were kissing ass to the Kinte Tribe of the slaves trader kingdom and looked like total assess! I will show this video in another post.

DEI is in Mediocrity and Failure while Republicans want Meritocracy( Based on the best people for the job not on their skin color)

You choose people based on DEI ideology and not on their smarts and that junior staff member could have checked the cloth to make sure wouldn't embarrass them but they didn't.

Doh! Whoopsie!

I clearly stated LTC (Join to see) that she “benefited “ off of African Americans fight to be treated as human beings in this country … hence her being able to go to school in the USA as they became desegregated.

Never said anything about her NOT earning her education or legally crossing the boarder.

I stated clearly that why people cry about Diversity, Equality & Inclusion … just stupid those people actually are.

I didn’t call you stupid LTC (Join to see) if you feel that stupid after reading this, look in the mirror, if not continue to enjoy your day.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility

History of
DE&I

Although much of the attention has been focused on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) in the past decade, the field itself has been around for much longer than that. Affirmative action and equal employment laws were enacted in the middle of the 1960s, following the introduction of equal employment laws and affirmative action.

The law, then and now, also forbade discrimination based on a person's race, gender, national origin, religion, and (later) age. However, in the view of many, DEIA has not historically resulted in significant progress.

How OLMS Promotes Diversity

The Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) is an agency that actively promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in the workplace - including race, gender, sexual orientation, and ability.

You can view resources below to learn more about the ways that OLMS is supporting different aspects of diversity to create a more inclusive and equitable workplace.

1.) When did segregation end in Milwaukee?

The federal government was made aware of the situation in Milwaukee and ordered the city to desegregate the schools in 1976. There was a major difference in the minority populations of schools when comparing rural schools to city schools.

2.) What caused segregation in Milwaukee?

“White flight”, the decline of manufacturing, and gentrification further contributed to racial and ethnic segregation in Milwaukee. This paper will track the residential history of four distinct Milwaukee neighborhoods: The South Side, Bronzeville (on the North Side), Riverwest and the Third Ward (both downtown).”
