I've seen some of those "Submarines" those are Death Traps, Coffins waiting to happen. If there is Money to be made, People will take the Risks.

One round with a 5 Inch 54 Cal would do the trick and actually might be somewhat merciful compared to slowly suffocating from exhaust fumes or slow sinking.

The drug cartels have been using these for years. We only manage to catch a handful. I've seen fishing vessels with the fuel tanks crammed full of coke. If I remember right, they take a loss in one of 5 shipment or there abouts due to these things sinking on their own or caught.
