LTC Eugene Chu - Yes, there is a small amount of truth buried in all the BS that he uses to be funny, but of course, that is the essence of humor - taking something that is almost real and stretching it to the point of being ridiculous. I would hope that it would be possible to discuss a serious topic seriously, but unfortunately there is no real discussion.
The "gun control" debate in the US is much like the territorial debate between Russia and Ukraine. The Russian position is simple: All of Ukraine once belonged to us and we want it all back. The "discussion" consists entirely of people saying Ukraine should give some of its territory to Russia and Russia will promise to stop wanting more. We all see how well that worked.
