This happened over two weeks ago, but it just now makes the news? Sounds like the Arkansas governor is already thinking about her re-election plans.
“Col. Patterson will remain an active member of the Arkansas Air National Guard,” Ramirez-Rodriguez said. “He has been assigned to the Arkansas Air National Guard Staff Element at Camp J. T. Robinson.”
Misleading headline too. Sounds like he just gave up his command slot, but he didn't resign from the AANG. The title should read "Arkansas Air Guard wing commander gives up command over abortion policy, Governor says".
