Excellent post. Thank You for sharing this shipmate. I know a lot of individuals will mention The Sugar Hill Gang as being the first rap artists they heard. Ironically, rap music has out before that with Coke la Rock being the first rapper and DJ Kool Herc as being the first rap music DJ back in 1977 I believe. They paved the way for today's hip hop artists. :->
