Much like Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth, I don't put much emphasis on WHAT a person did in the military. I'm more impressed THAT an individual honorably served. Every function has a purpose whether it be a grounds keeper or munitions tech. Just because something isn't as "glitzy" as the thing next to it doesn't automatically mean it is of less value.

Now, having been an ELINT/SIGINT troop myself....I have a pretty decent idea of what your mission set was. Some days I miss being in the middle of it. Other days I'm glad to be retired.

Chip...people gonna hate...especially when they don't know what someone has actually done versus what the basic Specialty Code requires. I will never test or question someones background...all I care about is that you raised your hand and became part of something bigger than yourself...what that entailed past that does not matter to me. You served...period. I had one person on here throw personal attacks at me once because I was a commander three seperate times at various levels. Wondering how I could lead my airmen because of something I posted here...let me say that again...SOMETHING I POSTED HERE! What the world that had to do with my time in service? Nothing. So whatever you did or whatever you say you did...it is your word and I have no reason anytime anywhere to challenge you or anyone else on your background.

I hope that beautiful Nagel clan has the opportunity to get together for Christmas...MERRY CHRISTMAS MY WARRIOR BROTHER!

No idea who questioned it but no branch actually describes everything everyone does, can, or will do. I know several Army 35S, worked with some, know what some have seen and/or done.

The first time my information was breached it was my security clearance information, along with about 35-40 others, and was discovered in the possession of a SMLM in Berlin in early 1986. There have been several breaches my information was included in, to include 2 separate VA medical information breaches.

Anyway, when people have clearances they are recruited by certain alphabet entities for projects/missions that may be outside their typical military or civilian duties.

Personally, I don't recommend publishing them on social media, not even here, but that's just me.

Anyway, I am in concurrence with the the LTC, thanks for your service and have a wonderful Christmas.

Brings La_Femme_Nikita to mind https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Femme_Nikita_(TV_series)
The entire series of all the season is available on Roku. The acting ins good all the way around - story line too = a lot of twists and turns.
