Venezuela has its President guarded by the Cuban secret service.
25 years ago, my cousin was the Honduran ambassador or Representative to the Organization of American States. (OAS). He shook the hands of Former Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez. He was guarded then by the Cuban Secret Service, just like Maduro is guarded now by them.
Iranian and Russian troops are also there.
President Biden wants to buy oil from Venezuela and instead of using our own domestic production this hurts our balance of trade and destroys our energy independence
Venezuela has absolutely NO environmental stewardship. Quite a few articles show the ecological disaster of lakes and other areas of Venezuelan environment that are destroyed by leaking oil Wells and blow out.
Our Compromised American President only cares about not having oil production in the USA.

Biden also has been exporting Oil to Communist Mainland China as well and forcing US Oil tanker to make the deliveries despite NO authorization from Congress at all. The US Tankers are also being forced to fly the Chinese Communist flag when the enter the Chinese controlled sea lane area. On of My friends is a Captain on a US Oil tanker and isn't at all happy about this and has made that trip thanks to Biden !
