Another Democrat has entered the race for New York’s 22nd Congressional District.
Jacob Addington, 37, is a Marine Corps veteran and farmer in Oneida County. Addington is a political newcomer and has not served in office before.
A statement on Addington’s campaign’s Facebook page reads: “I'm running for Congress to help end the divisiveness so we can focus on improving life in America.”
Addington is the fourth Democrat running for New York’s 22nd Congressional District. He faces challengers primary challengers state Sen. John Mannion, Clemmie Harris, and DeWitt Town Councilor Sarah Klee Hood.
