I remember coming home from the Corps to a dismal little town where no one had moved on. My wife and I stayed until my kids grew up and left. I've never looked back.

It Really IS True.....
"We Can Never Return Home"
They've Changed To The Point Of Being Unrecognizable,
They No Longer Exist In Our Memories As They Now Are..

I'm happy to say the little town I live in is worth staying and very pro veteran, is and always has been. The town has also however grown and continues to do so !

YUP ~ I Agree, It IS Sad.
But This May Sound Weird, But Here's The Way It Is With Me,
Born In Lansing Michigan, Then Detroit (not Recommended)
Then To Millbrook, MI ~ Back To Lansing ~ Off To Panama ~
Then To Phoenix To Enlist. ~ Sent To Arkansas ~ Then S. Korea ~
Visited Japan ~ Received DD-214 In California... ~ Lansing, Michigan ~
Then Tipton, Indiana ~ Followed By Return To Michigan ~ Now Living In Vega.
And Where Did I Feel The Most Like Being Home?....Panama.
And "NO" I Am NOT Sure "WHY"....But Of All The Other Places I NEVER Felt
"At Home", Nor Even Feeling Comfortable Referring To Them As "My Home Town".
So, I Really Don't Feel As Though I Have A "Home Town"
