Sadly, the friendly skies will never be what they were in the heyday of customer centered flight. Now, it's only butts in seats, mimicking other forms of mass transit, and dollars in the unions hands because they don't have to spend the money to build a company. They just usurp resources that others have put into a business.

LTC Eugene Chu Not Quite what it was when I Took My First Flight, I think 62 or 63? Then Again, I Won't Bitch, I'm What they Called Life Experienced Now! Laying on Cargo in a C-141 while a Load Master Yells "Who Ordered the Bologna Sandwich" as He Chucks a Box Lunch at Me! Sitting in Passenger Seat in a C-141 Looking Nervously Behind Me at the "Cargo" while My Seat Mate Asks "What's in those Damn Boxes, You Don't Like Them!" "Those are SM-2s Surface to Air Missiles, Glorified Bottle Rockets, Mad to Take Down Aircraft Like This". Coming back form Desert Strom My "Transient Quarters" having Survived Fiery Vigil/Desert Storm/Southern Watch was the F**king Brig in Philly! Perspective is Improtant!

Unless it is a question of safety, policymakers have no role. Free enterprise.
