Of course they eliminated the backlog to get their yearly bonus. That's how it goes. Of course the IG inspections are a joke as any employe they talk to has already been informed as to how to respond. This is exactly what happened here according to folks at the VA. I get info like this all of the time because if they report it they will be punished but if they pass it to me they know I will try and do something to get the issue resolved.
