Another $16B into a poorly run rail system. It exists, and that's about the only positive thing that can be said about Amtrack. It relies on someone else's track. It relies on someone else's controllers. Neither of which get paid what it costs in lack of productive freight to make a hole for a commuter line. They have lost money EVERY SINGLE YEAR in it's existence, but the Democrat way is to throw more money at a lost cause.
