How to Verify that you are Chatting with a Real Human Being

Apparently the online feature was created because of a dating site . . . however it has a more universal use.

Does it work? Is it useful? Will customer support website chats disconnect if asked to cooperate? Haven't tried it, but might . . . just to see how/if it works.

The instructions seems a lot of fooling around without explanation of how it actually works.
Robo a.i. chats can read what we type and respond so why couldn't they do the same with the online "Captcharoo" feature?
