Great video. Gives a pretty good perspective of how small we are in the scheme of things.

Interesting Sgt (Join to see)!
Gaseous planet (failed star?) or rocky planet or . . . just Wow!
Wondered more about it . . . not much to be found. Obviously a gas giant . . . orbits a young type B star meaning the planet is very young - according to a few brief sentences about it from NASA. It is quite distant from the star because the orbit is 249.2 years.
From a kids video . . . the star is also it is surrounded by a circumstellar disk - which also suggests a young solar system. Perhaps we can deduce that in young solar systems, gas giants form before the rocky planets . . . ? Maybe that is already known! lol!
There is already a video about it to teach kids! Seems there is an effort to get kids interested in space, astronomy, astrophysics! It's entertaining so here it is . . . (first 30 seconds and last 30 seconds are ads). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zne6q2aNzL4 ~3:30minutes.

Great that some are trying to educate kids on space, astronomy and more, but in my opinion this video with the two ads is counter education...in my view... What say you?

SGT Mary G.
Sgt (Join to see) - I was not overly impressed by it, however it did provide a few facts after a search resulted in sparse links to information about HD 100546 B. The way it was presented seemed to be addressed to children too young to appreciate the content. But then I don't know what it is like in the classrooms for kids theses days. I always find ads to be offensive. Way too much ad time 1/3 of the video. So I don't suppose the other videos on the channel are any different. There is no reason to be promoting ads on kids videos (or any videos, imo)! Let's just say it I was trying to find good videos for kids, that would not be a channel at the top of my list to consider!

SGT Mary G. - Me neither, Mary... Even the talk using a music twang (for lack of a better word), seemed to have a subliminal tone to it... If it were my call, I would not let kids see this type of video...
