The rhythmic beat jerked me out of my reverie of meditative thoughts and shocked me into this song!
"When the storm is raging
And my hope is gone,
When my flesh is failing
You're still holding on."
Sheri, I could see your face while in the raging storm. I became acutely aware that you've been through many storms.
I know that storms motivate you to become more of who you are and who you are to become. And you have been doing this becoming and you are becoming more into this present day.
Your flesh may be failing but your spirit is becoming more and more healthy and is becoming more and more strong. Your physical and material storms motivate you to become deeper and broader in the spirit and brings you closer and closer into peace.
A passage comes to me in this moment and seems so very relevant for you, Sheri:
"And he said unto me,
My grace is sufficient for thee:
For my strength is made perfect in weakness.
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,
That the power of Christ may rest upon me."
Amen.
2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV
