The pilot program is definitely a step in the right direction, however, the first attempt pass rate for the NREMT-P exam is roughly 65-70% and the third attempt pass rate is a little over 80%. After failure of the third attempt it makes me wonder if the army will pay for the required remedial training to have the additional three attempts, if they will just revert back to 68W with their NREMT-B certs for retention, or if they will be forced to reclass like IET 68W soldiers are after NREMT failures.
