That's a good thing, I wonder if the Navy is still suffering from Navy enlistments because of that drag queen petty officer commercial that probably pissed off a lot of people who wanted to join the navy. Maybe the Army got rid of their weird and bizarre gay female cartoon? Nothing wrong with a gay female but why make it a cartoon and why put it as an enlistment advertising. I'll tell you why, because Madison Avenue is bizarre. Look what they try to do with the Coors beer having fake females endorse it. And you wonder why the stock went down. Same thing with Target trying to cater to one half of 1% of the population and pisses off the other 95%. It should be about duty, honor and country, not about critical race theory, not about transgender studies, not about anything other than duty, honor and Country. We should have inspirational commercials like the way the Canadians made their special forces commercial exciting it didn't try to Virtue signal to all the weirdos at the same time alienating the rank and file straight person.

I am sure the National Guard and Army Reserve are still going to have retention bonuses. I remember I got a $10,000 bonus as a captain and civil Affairs back in 2011. I'm sure the garden Reserve are really short of officers especially pushing the covid-19 vaccine. I got out after 27 years and I was lucky to get my one year early retirement at age 59 because I served in Afghanistan. National Garden Army Reserve soldiers were able to get early retirement based on a certain formula after 2007. I did over one year so I got one year early retirement. I didn't join the National Guard until I was almost 32 and I did not become commissioned until I was almost 34. I got a 299 on my APFT at age 57 and I was able to
Easily pass the Army Combat fitness test at age 58. I also didn't need to be taped.

They were commenting on bonuses, not gays or transgenders or your personal accomplishments in the military. I could have said that I completed my first marathon at age 50 at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico in full BDUs, and I'm sure many older members here and many not in Rallypoint have had great accomplishments.

LTC Jorge Cordero awesome, jorge! I spent a month or two at White Sands while training at Ford Bliss, did the marathon have you run by the old water cooler Barracks at Dona Ana?

LTC (Join to see) - Goes northwest from Water Point 4, then around a small mountain/large hill. Part on a hard pavement and then sand road. Many were not prepare for the sand road including one of our team members, especially since we did it in uniform including boots. He lost a couple of toe nails and had to drop out at approx. the halfway point.

LTC Jorge Cordero I'm sorry, it's been so long since I've been there, jorge, I do remember seeing what looked like some kind of processing plant. It was pretty funny because I speak fluent Spanish and when I was there as a platoon leader in 2004, all the civilians in the battlefield were speaking Spanish and they were supposed to be making it difficult for us because they assumed that white boys like me don't speak spanish. So we went to the mock villages to gather intel, I was able to help my platoon sergeant because I was able to extract information. This was supposed to be an Arab or Iraqi settlement and not Spanish speaking settlement of latinos. This was at night. So the reference points you give I don't know I will have to look it up on a map unless you have a map you can provide on this. Recently, I can attach pictures from my smartphone. I don't know if it's a glitch from Rally Point or an update from my smartphone that prevents me from attaching pictures or screenshots but I can attach articles and YouTube links. If you're able to do that, let me know because I don't really remember much except being a Donna Anna. The most I have ran is a half marathon and I do remember running long distances for my gold German Sports badge. I think the German Sports badge they've cut back on the distance but I think it was something like 13 or 14 miles that you have to run with the 10 kg pack. I did Run a 10 miler and that was in college and my best time was an hour and 2 minutes but that was running with running gear and no uniform this was back when I was in community college. I used to run 10 K's but these long distance marches I'm sure were tough.
