Reading through the article, this sounds like GREAT news for ETSing mid-career NCOs. They seem likely to check every box discussed, and will excel in the skills and traits areas.

Even 1 and done enlisted who ETS after completing a single successful enlistment seem poised to significantly benefit from this labor market shift.

What I thought as well. With no degree required anyone who has military experience definitely has a leg up on their civilian counterpart.
