But I Was Also Serious When I Asked "Why Was He Not Treated"?.
I've Got A "C" Spot That Says "She's Been An Alcoholic For Years, Even LONG Before She Even BECAME A Teacher".....Our Schools Are Supposed To Do Back-Ground Checks Before Hiring Them; But I'd Wager, They Don't... One Of Ours Was A Meth Addict And The Kids Laughed At Him Quite A Bit, Because He'd Sit As His Desk & Quack Like A Duck:...
When The Admin Finally Figured It Out AND Had The Balls To Do Anything About It, He
Decided To Resigned... Excellent Move; ~ Because, Just Like The Cops, If You Resign Before You're Fired, It Doesn't Go On Your Employment Records....Here's Another Benefit Of Resigning, Especially With The Cops; They ALREADY Have The Next Job Lined Up...... Friday They're Gone...Monday Starts Their New Job .....They AIN'T Missed A Click.

SFC Casey O'Mally - I don't blame you Brother. The problem is, I really enjoy teaching the youth that I do so I have to deal with the parents, like it or not. Kind of a necessary evil if you will! But it is my choice. I could easily go to a community college to teach; I just don't want to. That may be hard for some to understand.

Hell, Were I She, I'd Still Be Drunk Since The First Day Of Summer Break.
And Not Sober-Up Til' Christmas......Then Start All Over Again...
Our Dad Was A Functional Alcoholic So We'd Joke About It By Saying
"We Didn't Even KNOW He Drank, Until We Saw Him Sober One Day".

Seriously Though, She'd Probably Been Drinking In Class For YEARS Before Anyone Even Noticed The Problem....And Evidently Did Fine, So NOW She's Caught & Fired? Why Was She Not Treated?
In Her Particular Instance, I'd Have Claimed It A Disability, And Sued Their Asses For Wrongful Termination....And I'd Bet She'd Get One Hell Of A Settlement!!
HOORAY For The Teaching Staff !
Chalk One More Up As A Victory!!
At Least This Is ONE Way For A Teacher To Retire Wealthy, It's A Rare Occasion.!
