‘A Violent Transition’—Mental Health Care Lacks Military Cultural Understanding

I like the ideas put forth. It's always easier to talk to another vet. Not directly related to mental health here, but I had a provider that was so hung up on the pronunciation of a word, that every time I said it, She would would say it again in her preferred way. To the point that it affected the purpose of why I was there, and caused me to start having anxiety issues and a need to just get it over with and get out of there. The Dr's attitude also caused issues with the rest of the staff in the clinic. It's not just the MH aspect of VA Care that needs to be looked at.
