The main reason is that there cannot be a United States of Europe. It was a pipe dream that is failing faster than anywhere else right now. Canada is next to fall. Leftist policies wreak destruction on economies every time they are tried. It's just been a slower trainwreck than everyone thought, but the outcome will be the same.
