There are so many potential reason why they lost -- ultimately, those myriad of reasons leads one to believe the team (coaching/players) was not singularly focused on winning. Win and all the noise goes away -- lose and there's nothing but noise

My feelings are, “if you represent America on the world stage be prepared to show respect for the symbols of the nation you are representing “. Being a player on the world stage isn’t your platform to whine!

There are a myriad of reasons the USA Women’s team didn’t make it past the first knockout stage. First and foremost they were without a number of players that were out with injuries. Second, three members had just had children and at least one of them was not up to the task (I won’t elaborate on which one I am speaking of). Third, regardless of Meagan Rapino’s protesting the National Anthem, etc., she was a complete nonentity during her stints in the game. She should never have been part of the shootout. And finally, the current coach failed to have this team ready for the tourney.
Yes, I am critical of the US Women’s Team. If you think I am too critical, you have no idea how much more critical of the US Men’s Soccer team I have been over the years, especially the leaving out of the squad Landon Donovan a number of years back.
Yes, I do follow soccer and I am very critical regarding our US Men’s and Women’s teams, as well as Atlanta United and Liverpool FC.

Agree 100%. Replace coach Vlatko Andonovski and focus on bringing in the best players. The men's team also needs a complete overhaul.
