I was always under the impression that UCMJ and civilian court systems were separate entities. Thus leaving the service member open to "Double Jeopardy". Now we are being told, that is not the case? Bergdahl admitted guilt at His Courts Marshall. The reading of this article indicates there may have been some irregularities in the initial proceedings, but I don't see where that gives a civilian Judge standing to just throw the whole thing out.
