"Those who qualify under DACA or are not US citizens, but have permission to work in the country, can now join the police force,..." This statement indicates that they are resident aliens, not illegals. We have been allowing Non-Citizens to join our military for a long time as a route to citizenship. Experience teaches us that the legal resident aliens don't much care for the illegals in the country. Pritzker may find his county lockups filling up with illegals. Bit that's just my opinion.
