This is a necessary and long awaited move. Some senior leaders committed sexual assaults early in their careers and it was swept under the rug by commanders who very likely also committed sexual harassment and /or sexual assault. We need to take those blindfolds off and do away with the escape hatch and hold the perpetrators accountable no matter their rank, This is obviously a hot topic for me having been a victim of a heinous sexual assault by serial rapists who belonged to the military pilot community, PO1 William "Chip" Nagel With new DNA technology and thousands of reports, it’s become harder to hide, reports of the same locations, the same perpetrators, the same details are being correlated and identifying people formerly in top leadership positions.

Maj Kim Patterson I'M very sorry to hear that you also fell victim to the US Military's favorite pastime of sexually assaulting its members. And people wonder why I would not reccomend serving in the military. I know they would be raped before they got out of basic.
